What We Are Investigating?
Our firm is launching a comprehensive investigation into AstroFX over allegations that it has been suppressing critical reviews and unfavorable Google search results by fraudulently misusing DMCA takedown notices. These actions, if proven, could constitute serious legal violations—including impersonation, fraud, and perjury.
We conducted comprehensive analyses of fraudulent copyright takedown requests, meritless legal complaints, and other unlawful efforts to suppress public access to critical information. Our reporting sheds light on the prevalence and modus operandi of a structured censorship network, often funded and used by criminal enterprises, oligarchs and criminal entities seeking to manipulate public perception and bypass AML checks conducted by financial organisations.
The fake DMCA notices in this investigation appears to have been strategically deployed to remove negative content from Google search results illegally. Based on this pattern, we have reasonable grounds to infer that AstroFX - or an entity acting at its behest - is directly or indirectly complicit in this cyber crime.
In most such cases, such ops are executed by rogue, fly-by-night 'Online Reputation Management' agencies acting on behalf of their clients. If evidence establishes that the subject knowingly benefited from or facilitated this scam, it may be deemed an 'accomplice' or an 'accessory' to the crime.

What are they trying to censor
AstroFX, a trading education platform, has recently come under intense scrutiny due to a series of serious allegations and adverse reports that cast doubt on its legitimacy and business practices.
License Misconduct and Fraudulent Credentials
Investigations have revealed that AstroFX is accused of fabricating financial licenses to project an image of legitimacy. A critical review highlighted that the company allegedly “prints out financial licenses like newspapers,” suggesting a systematic approach to misrepresenting its regulatory status. This deception poses significant risks to unsuspecting traders and clients who trust the company’s purported credentials.
Regulatory Warnings
The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) of the UK has issued warnings against AstroFX Investment, stating that the firm is providing financial services or products without proper authorization. The FCA cautions that engaging with such unauthorized entities means consumers are not protected by the Financial Ombudsman Service or the Financial Services Compensation Scheme, making the recovery of funds unlikely if issues arise.
Cybercrime Allegations and Reputation Management
Further compounding these issues are allegations that AstroFX has engaged in cybercrime to suppress negative information. Reports suggest that the company submitted fraudulent copyright takedown notices to remove adverse news from search results, involving potential perjury, impersonation, and fraud. Such actions indicate a deliberate attempt to manipulate public perception and conceal unfavorable information.
Impact on Reputation and Potential Motivations for Content Removal
The accumulation of these allegations severely damages AstroFX’s reputation. The exposure of fraudulent licensing practices undermines trust, while regulatory warnings highlight the risks of engaging with an unauthorized firm. The cybercrime allegations suggest unethical attempts to hide misconduct.
AstroFX would have a strong incentive to remove such damaging content to maintain its public image and continue attracting clients. The negative reports could deter potential clients and lead to increased scrutiny from regulatory bodies. The company’s alleged willingness to engage in cybercrime to suppress this information underscores the severity of the reputational threat these stories pose.
In conclusion, the allegations against AstroFX—including license fabrication, unauthorized financial service offerings, and cybercrime—raise significant concerns about its operations. These issues not only harm the company’s reputation but also highlight the potential risks to clients and the broader financial community.

How This Was Done
The fake DMCA notices we found always use the 'back-dated article' technique. With this technique, the wrongful notice sender (or copier) creates a copy of a 'true original' article and back-dates it, creating a 'fake original' article (a copy of the true original) that, at first glance, appears to have been published before the true original

What Happens Next?
Based on the feedback, information, and requests received from all relevant parties, our team will formally notify the affected party of the alleged infringement. Following a thorough review, we will submit a counter-notice to reinstate any link that has been removed by Google, in accordance with applicable legal provisions. Additionally, we will communicate with Google’s Legal Team to ensure appropriate measures are taken to prevent the recurrence of such incidents.

AstroFX pretending to have legit financial licenses is a massive red flag. Printing fake licenses just to look “regulated” is straight-up fraud, not a mistake.
