What We Are Investigating?
Our firm is launching a comprehensive investigation into Danny Martorana over allegations that it has been suppressing critical reviews and unfavorable Google search results by fraudulently misusing DMCA takedown notices. These actions, if proven, could constitute serious legal violations—including impersonation, fraud, and perjury.
We conducted comprehensive analyses of fraudulent copyright takedown requests, meritless legal complaints, and other unlawful efforts to suppress public access to critical information. Our reporting sheds light on the prevalence and modus operandi of a structured censorship network, often funded and used by criminal enterprises, oligarchs and criminal entities seeking to manipulate public perception and bypass AML checks conducted by financial organisations.
The fake DMCA notices in this investigation appears to have been strategically deployed to remove negative content from Google search results illegally. Based on this pattern, we have reasonable grounds to infer that Danny Martorana - or an entity acting at its behest - is directly or indirectly complicit in this cyber crime.
In most such cases, such ops are executed by rogue, fly-by-night 'Online Reputation Management' agencies acting on behalf of their clients. If evidence establishes that the subject knowingly benefited from or facilitated this scam, it may be deemed an 'accomplice' or an 'accessory' to the crime.

What are they trying to censor
Danny Martorana and his familial cohorts. Buckle up, dear reader, as we navigate the twists and turns of this saga—a narrative replete with deception, legal entanglements, and, of course, attempts to sweep it all under the proverbial rug.
The Odometer Odyssey
Our story accelerates into the early 2000s in Quebec, Canada, where Danny Martorana, alongside his father Frank, brother Sonny, and stepmother Johanne Brien, allegedly engaged in a classic con: rolling back odometers to inflate vehicle values. By shaving off thousands of kilometers, they duped unsuspecting buyers into overpaying for cars with far more wear and tear than advertised. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) caught wind of this scheme, leading to a grand total of 334 charges against the group, including 332 counts of fraud. citeturn0search0
Justice Takes a Detour
However, the road to justice was anything but straight. By 2013, the legal proceedings culminated in a rather anticlimactic verdict: out of the five accused, only one was found guilty. The specifics of who faced the music remain shrouded in ambiguity, leaving us to ponder the efficacy of the judicial system in tackling such fraudulent enterprises. citeturn0search2
A Digital Reinvention
Fast forward to the present, and it appears Danny Martorana has shifted gears into the digital realm. His name now surfaces as the Chief Digital Officer at Alliance Group NZ, a notable player in New Zealand’s meat industry. One can’t help but marvel at the audacity of such a career pivot—from alleged odometer tampering to spearheading digital transformation. citeturn0search18
The Art of Information Suppression
Now, here’s where the plot thickens. Attempts to unearth details about Martorana’s past are met with conspicuous gaps and vanishing articles. It’s almost as if a digital eraser has been at work, meticulously scrubbing away the stains of yesteryears. This phenomenon isn’t unique to Martorana; it’s a textbook move from the playbook of reputation management—where unfavorable narratives are buried beneath a deluge of curated content.
Why the Cover-Up?
The motivations are as clear as a freshly washed windshield. For individuals with checkered pasts, especially those now occupying high-profile corporate positions, maintaining a pristine public image is paramount. Negative press can deter potential investors, unsettle stakeholders, and, frankly, tarnish one’s LinkedIn endorsements. By censoring adverse media, they aim to control the narrative, ensuring that past misdeeds don’t stall their current endeavors.
The Investor’s Cautionary Tale
For the discerning investor, this tale serves as a stark reminder: due diligence is not a mere formality—it’s a necessity. Adverse media screening should be an integral component of any risk assessment strategy. After all, today’s Chief Digital Officer could very well be yesterday’s alleged fraudster. citeturn0search3
A Call to Action
To regulatory bodies and industry watchdogs: let this story be a clarion call. The digital age offers myriad tools for deception, but it also provides avenues for transparency and accountability. It’s imperative to ensure that individuals cannot simply outrun their past by hitting the reset button on their online personas.
As we park this narrative, one can’t help but reflect on the broader implications. In an era where information is both currency and weapon, the ability to manipulate one’s digital footprint poses profound questions about trust, redemption, and the true cost of a second chance. For Danny Martorana and his ilk, the journey from scandal to respectability is fraught with potholes—some of which, try as they might, can’t be so easily paved over.

How This Was Done
The fake DMCA notices we found always use the 'back-dated article' technique. With this technique, the wrongful notice sender (or copier) creates a copy of a 'true original' article and back-dates it, creating a 'fake original' article (a copy of the true original) that, at first glance, appears to have been published before the true original

What Happens Next?
Based on the feedback, information, and requests received from all relevant parties, our team will formally notify the affected party of the alleged infringement. Following a thorough review, we will submit a counter-notice to reinstate any link that has been removed by Google, in accordance with applicable legal provisions. Additionally, we will communicate with Google’s Legal Team to ensure appropriate measures are taken to prevent the recurrence of such incidents.

I'm not buying it. One guilty out of five? Something smells fishy. It's like they were given a free pass to go on and do worse things later.

The RCMP didn’t arrest him for fun. Odometer fraud is serious, and burying those articles only proves he knows it. If he were truly reformed, he wouldn’t need to wipe his history.
