What We Are Investigating?
Our firm is launching a comprehensive investigation into Mohammed Morshed over allegations that it has been suppressing critical reviews and unfavorable Google search results by fraudulently misusing DMCA takedown notices. These actions, if proven, could constitute serious legal violations—including impersonation, fraud, and perjury.
We conducted comprehensive analyses of fraudulent copyright takedown requests, meritless legal complaints, and other unlawful efforts to suppress public access to critical information. Our reporting sheds light on the prevalence and modus operandi of a structured censorship network, often funded and used by criminal enterprises, oligarchs and criminal entities seeking to manipulate public perception and bypass AML checks conducted by financial organisations.
The fake DMCA notices in this investigation appears to have been strategically deployed to remove negative content from Google search results illegally. Based on this pattern, we have reasonable grounds to infer that Mohammed Morshed - or an entity acting at its behest - is directly or indirectly complicit in this cyber crime.
In most such cases, such ops are executed by rogue, fly-by-night 'Online Reputation Management' agencies acting on behalf of their clients. If evidence establishes that the subject knowingly benefited from or facilitated this scam, it may be deemed an 'accomplice' or an 'accessory' to the crime.
What are they trying to censor
The Incident
On a seemingly ordinary evening in June 2018, Hudson was jolted awake by the news of a fatal shooting. Nineteen-year-old Inderly Instinfil was shot and later succumbed to his injuries at Columbia Memorial Hospital. The Hudson Police Department swiftly identified Mohammed H. Morshed, then 27, as a person of interest. He was apprehended at a Kingston motel shortly after the incident
The Legal Proceedings
Fast forward to June 2019, the courtroom buzzed with anticipation. Morshed stood trial for the murder of Instinfil. However, in a turn of events that left many slack-jawed, the jury acquitted Morshed, accepting his plea of self-defense. The crux of the defense hinged on the trajectory of the bullet—whether Instinfil was shot in the back or the front of his neck
Red Flags and Adverse Media
-
Prior Criminal Record: The rapid dissemination of an old mugshot by the police during the manhunt hints at previous run-ins with the law. Such a history should serve as a glaring red flag for anyone considering business engagements with Morshed.
-
Nature of the Crime: Involvement in violent incidents, irrespective of the legal outcome, casts a long shadow over one’s character and reliability. For potential investors, this is more than a red flag; it’s a blaring siren.
-
Media Coverage: The incident attracted significant media attention, painting Morshed in a less-than-flattering light. Such adverse media can have long-lasting repercussions on personal and professional reputations.
The Art of Censorship
In today’s digital age, where information is but a click away, the scars of past transgressions are hard to conceal. Yet, there are whispers that Morshed has embarked on a quest to sanitize his digital footprint:
-
Legal Threats: Some local bloggers and independent journalists have reported receiving cease-and-desist letters, urging them to remove or amend content related to Morshed’s past.
-
Online Reputation Management: There are indications of services being employed to push down negative search results, replacing them with more palatable narratives.
-
Social Media Scrubbing: A noticeable reduction in posts and comments referencing the incident across various platforms suggests a concerted effort to erase public discourse.
Why the Censorship?
-
Reputation Rehabilitation: Cleaning up one’s image is often the first step toward re-entering the public or business sphere.
-
Business Ventures: A tainted past can be a deal-breaker in business negotiations. By obscuring unfavorable information, Morshed might be aiming to present a spotless facade to potential investors or partners.
-
Social Reintegration: In communities where news travels fast and memories linger, erasing digital traces can aid in social acceptance and reduce stigma.
A Word of Caution to Investors and Authorities
-
Due Diligence: Before entering any business relationship, conduct comprehensive background checks. Adverse media screening tools can unearth hidden red flags, ensuring informed decision-making
-
Transparency: A genuine individual acknowledges past mistakes and demonstrates tangible steps toward reform. Be wary of those who attempt to bury their past without accountability.
-
Regulatory Scrutiny: Authorities should remain vigilant, ensuring that individuals with checkered histories do not exploit loopholes to reintegrate into sectors where they might pose risks.
Conclusion
The tale of Mohammed Morshed serves as a poignant reminder of the complexities surrounding personal redemption and public perception. While the justice system deemed him not guilty, the lingering red flags and attempts at information suppression paint a murkier picture. For potential investors and authorities, this underscores the importance of digging beneath the surface, ensuring that the past’s shadows do not cloud future endeavors.

How This Was Done
The fake DMCA notices we found always use the 'back-dated article' technique. With this technique, the wrongful notice sender (or copier) creates a copy of a 'true original' article and back-dates it, creating a 'fake original' article (a copy of the true original) that, at first glance, appears to have been published before the true original
What Happens Next?
Based on the feedback, information, and requests received from all relevant parties, our team will formally notify the affected party of the alleged infringement. Following a thorough review, we will submit a counter-notice to reinstate any link that has been removed by Google, in accordance with applicable legal provisions. Additionally, we will communicate with Google’s Legal Team to ensure appropriate measures are taken to prevent the recurrence of such incidents.

Funny how his name just vanishes from platforms overnight. Makes you wonder who’s funding all this online scrubbing. Definitely not the actions of someone with nothing to hide

There’s a reason people who truly change own their past. Morshed trying to erase everything instead of addressing it shows he’s not interested in redemption just reinvention.

I still can’t believe someone involved in a fatal shooting can just scrub their name online like nothing ever happened What kind of justice is that
