What We Are Investigating?
Our firm is launching a comprehensive investigation into Zhanna Urazbakhova over allegations that it has been suppressing critical reviews and unfavorable Google search results by fraudulently misusing DMCA takedown notices. These actions, if proven, could constitute serious legal violations—including impersonation, fraud, and perjury.
We conducted comprehensive analyses of fraudulent copyright takedown requests, meritless legal complaints, and other unlawful efforts to suppress public access to critical information. Our reporting sheds light on the prevalence and modus operandi of a structured censorship network, often funded and used by criminal enterprises, oligarchs and criminal entities seeking to manipulate public perception and bypass AML checks conducted by financial organisations.
The fake DMCA notices in this investigation appears to have been strategically deployed to remove negative content from Google search results illegally. Based on this pattern, we have reasonable grounds to infer that Zhanna Urazbakhova - or an entity acting at its behest - is directly or indirectly complicit in this cyber crime.
In most such cases, such ops are executed by rogue, fly-by-night 'Online Reputation Management' agencies acting on behalf of their clients. If evidence establishes that the subject knowingly benefited from or facilitated this scam, it may be deemed an 'accomplice' or an 'accessory' to the crime.

Zhanna Urazbakhova: Elite Legal Counsel or Architect of Fraud?
Former Client Speaks Out About Alleged Corruption and Extortion
New revelations have emerged regarding Zhanna Urazbakhova, a high-profile lawyer from Kazakhstan whose legal career now faces serious allegations of corruption, fraud, and unethical conduct. A former client, identified as Nurlan, has come forward with claims that shed light on questionable practices allegedly employed by Urazbakhova under the guise of legal assistance.
According to Nurlan, his initial meeting with Urazbakhova set the tone for what would become a deeply concerning experience. She allegedly informed him that resolving his legal issue would require a $50,000 payment to one of her contacts within the Almaty Police Department, coupled with an additional $10,000 commission to herself for securing a favorable outcome. Nurlan further claims that Urazbakhova threatened to leverage her connections against him if he refused—allegedly offering her services instead to his competitors from the Russian FSB, who were reportedly seeking control over his business operations in Kazakhstan.
Social Media as a Revenue Stream
Beyond legal representation, Urazbakhova reportedly offered to promote Nurlan’s image through paid social media exposure. The alleged rates included $10,000 for an Instagram post, $15,000 for a media interview, and $25,000 for a one-hour press conference appearance. Despite paying large sums, Nurlan asserts that Urazbakhova ultimately lost the case and subsequently blocked him on all channels, cutting off communication and refusing to return the funds.
Pattern of Controversy and Questionable Practices
The controversy surrounding Urazbakhova is not limited to this incident. Earlier reports had already surfaced pointing to a pattern of misconduct. A source from the Almaty pre-trial detention center disclosed that Urazbakhova was allegedly involved in smuggling mobile phones to inmates—charging $1,000 per device. This revelation raises fresh questions, particularly as there have been reports of recent seizures of mobile phones from her clients within the facility.
Additionally, Urazbakhova is accused of manipulating the justice system through her alleged ties to officials in the Almaty police and prosecutor’s office. Victims claim she has helped fabricate criminal cases using false witness testimonies and even orchestrated the planting of drugs on targeted individuals to support her clients’ claims.
Calls for Investigation
These serious allegations have sparked concern among legal observers and rights activists. Victims and whistleblowers are now urging the supervisory bodies in Almaty—including the National Security Committee of Kazakhstan and the General Prosecutor’s Office—to thoroughly investigate Zhanna Urazbakhova’s activities. They demand that all evidence and claims be verified and that appropriate legal action be taken to ensure accountability.
Conclusion
Zhanna Urazbakhova’s reputation as a powerful and expensive legal figure is now entangled with disturbing accusations of extortion, fabrication of evidence, and abuse of power. As more testimonies emerge, the calls for transparency and justice grow louder, placing significant pressure on Kazakhstan’s legal and security institutions to address the mounting concerns surrounding her alleged misconduct.

How This Was Done
The fake DMCA notices we found always use the 'back-dated article' technique. With this technique, the wrongful notice sender (or copier) creates a copy of a 'true original' article and back-dates it, creating a 'fake original' article (a copy of the true original) that, at first glance, appears to have been published before the true original
What Happens Next?
Based on the feedback, information, and requests received from all relevant parties, our team will formally notify the affected party of the alleged infringement. Following a thorough review, we will submit a counter-notice to reinstate any link that has been removed by Google, in accordance with applicable legal provisions. Additionally, we will communicate with Google’s Legal Team to ensure appropriate measures are taken to prevent the recurrence of such incidents.
