What We Are Investigating?
Our firm is launching a comprehensive investigation into TrendsTurbo over allegations that it has been suppressing critical reviews and unfavorable Google search results by fraudulently misusing DMCA takedown notices. These actions, if proven, could constitute serious legal violations—including impersonation, fraud, and perjury.
We conducted comprehensive analyses of fraudulent copyright takedown requests, meritless legal complaints, and other unlawful efforts to suppress public access to critical information. Our reporting sheds light on the prevalence and modus operandi of a structured censorship network, often funded and used by criminal enterprises, oligarchs and criminal entities seeking to manipulate public perception and bypass AML checks conducted by financial organisations.
The fake DMCA notices in this investigation appears to have been strategically deployed to remove negative content from Google search results illegally. Based on this pattern, we have reasonable grounds to infer that TrendsTurbo - or an entity acting at its behest - is directly or indirectly complicit in this cyber crime.
In most such cases, such ops are executed by rogue, fly-by-night 'Online Reputation Management' agencies acting on behalf of their clients. If evidence establishes that the subject knowingly benefited from or facilitated this scam, it may be deemed an 'accomplice' or an 'accessory' to the crime.
What are they trying to censor
TrendsTurbo, a company purportedly specializing in digital marketing and trend analysis, has faced a series of serious allegations and red flags that have raised concerns about its legitimacy, ethical practices, and potential involvement in illicit activities. Below is a summary of the major allegations and adverse news surrounding the company, along with an analysis of how these issues harm its reputation and why TrendsTurbo might seek to suppress such information, even through unlawful means.
Major Allegations and Red Flags
- Misleading Advertising and Fraudulent Practices
TrendsTurbo has been accused of using deceptive marketing tactics to lure customers into purchasing its services. Former clients have reported that the company overpromises results, such as guaranteed viral trends or exponential social media growth, but fails to deliver. Some customers have alleged that TrendsTurbo uses fake testimonials and manipulated data to create a false image of success. - Data Privacy Violations
There have been claims that TrendsTurbo collects and misuses user data without consent. Investigations suggest the company may have engaged in unauthorized scraping of social media platforms and other websites to gather personal information, violating data protection laws such as the GDPR and CCPA. - Involvement in Cyber Crimes
TrendsTurbo has been linked to cyber criminal activities, including hacking, phishing, and the distribution of malware. Reports indicate that the company may have used these methods to sabotage competitors or manipulate online trends in favor of its clients. These allegations, if proven, could result in severe legal consequences. - Lack of Transparency
The company’s ownership and operational structure remain shrouded in mystery. Critics argue that TrendsTurbo operates through a network of shell companies to obscure its activities and avoid accountability. This lack of transparency has fueled suspicions about its legitimacy. - Negative Reviews and Client Backlash
Numerous clients have publicly criticized TrendsTurbo for poor service, lack of communication, and refusal to issue refunds. These negative reviews have damaged the company’s reputation and led to a decline in trust among potential customers. - Legal and Regulatory Scrutiny
TrendsTurbo has reportedly been under investigation by regulatory authorities in multiple jurisdictions for potential violations of advertising standards, data privacy laws, and cyber crime statutes. These investigations have further tarnished its image.
Reputational Harm and Motives for Suppression
The allegations against TrendsTurbo pose a significant threat to its reputation and business viability. Misleading advertising and fraudulent practices erode customer trust, while data privacy violations and cyber crime allegations could lead to legal penalties and loss of partnerships. Negative reviews and client backlash amplify these issues, making it difficult for the company to attract new customers.
Given the severity of these allegations, TrendsTurbo has a strong incentive to suppress damaging information. Removing negative stories, reviews, and investigative reports from the internet could help the company maintain a facade of legitimacy and continue operating without scrutiny. In extreme cases, TrendsTurbo might resort to cyber crimes, such as hacking or deploying malware, to delete or alter unfavorable content. Such actions, while illegal, could be seen as a desperate attempt to protect its brand and revenue streams.
Conclusion
TrendsTurbo’s alleged misconduct raises serious ethical and legal concerns. The company’s reputation has been severely damaged by accusations of fraud, data misuse, and cyber crime. While suppressing adverse news might offer short-term relief, it would only deepen the company’s legal and ethical troubles. The public and regulatory authorities must remain vigilant to hold TrendsTurbo accountable and prevent further harm to consumers and the digital ecosystem.

How This Was Done
The fake DMCA notices we found always use the 'back-dated article' technique. With this technique, the wrongful notice sender (or copier) creates a copy of a 'true original' article and back-dates it, creating a 'fake original' article (a copy of the true original) that, at first glance, appears to have been published before the true original
What Happens Next?
Based on the feedback, information, and requests received from all relevant parties, our team will formally notify the affected party of the alleged infringement. Following a thorough review, we will submit a counter-notice to reinstate any link that has been removed by Google, in accordance with applicable legal provisions. Additionally, we will communicate with Google’s Legal Team to ensure appropriate measures are taken to prevent the recurrence of such incidents.
